Shalini Sardana

Shalini is a human-centered designer with a passion for social innovation. She works as a Leadership Ambassador for Take The Lead, an organization focused on preparing, developing, inspiring, and propelling women into leadership roles. She brings design-thinking methodologies to her trainings to help women overcome their leadership challenges. With design experience that spans over 12 years in fashion, graphic and interactive design, both in India and US, she brings a unique vantage point by morphing two different cultural outlooks. As an immigrant and social entrepreneur, issues of diversity and inclusion have personal resonance for her. She has an undergraduate degree in psychology from Delhi University, a master's from National Institute of Fashion Technology and a MFA in Design from California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
